lujvo function f1 is discontinuous/abrupt/sharply changes locally (in output) on/at s2 (set), with abruptness of type x3 (default: 1) s2 should be a set within some open subset of definition of f1, or a set on which f1 is not defined at all. For x3, an argument of n (number) corresponds to a differentiability class of order n to which f1 does NOT belong at points in set s2; notice that such an n makes no implications about the truth value of f1 belonging to any given differentiability classes of order m < n, but f1 cannot belong to differentiability classes of order m > n; n = 0 implies that the function is not continuous on that set (lack of definition there is sufficient for such a claim); a function that is discontinuous or which has a cusp or sharp "corner" in its graph/plot (meaning that its derivative is discontinuous) at points in s2 will have n ≤ 1. For now at least, n can be a nonnegative integer; generalizations may eventually be defined. This lujvo is not perfectly algorithmic/predictable.
astro
fu'ivla x1 is a celestial body, heavenly body lo plini describes planets (lo planeta), dwarf planets (lo jdikyplini), asteroids (lo cmaplini). See also kensa, tarci, solri.
jai'i
experimental cmavo takes NU or LE NU, turns into sumtcita: clarifies the semantic NU-type of the current bridi. 'mi jai'i li'i klama lo zarci', 'jai'i li'i ku mi klama lo zarci', and 'mi klama lo zarci jai'i li'i' are all acceptable and equivalent. Implies '(zo'e) li'i mi klama lo zarci', but avoids wrapping the bridi in an abstraction that makes its sumti hard to access via le go'i etc. Tagged sumti, if present, fills the x2 of the NU; e.g. 'jai'i li'i do mi klama lo zarci' implies 'fe do li'i mi klama lo zarci'
trupausle
lujvo s1 is a sub-division of the Ministry/Department of t2. Cf. turni, pagbu, selci, trupau, truci'e.
cei'e
experimental cmavo define following selbri with sentence or tu'e...tu'u clause Usage: The selbri after cei'e is defined by the associated sentence or tu'e...tu'u clause. bo'a, bo'e, bo'i, bo'o, and bo'u represent places x1 through x5 within its place structure. (Use bo'ai for more places if needed, or ce'u for "next place"). // cei'e is meant to be used to define new words (implicit ca'e) but may be modified by evidentials to express an assertion (ju'a) or opinion (pe'i) on a meaning instead. Alternatively, smuni and ka'ei may be used. // See cei, goi, goi'e
sovda
gismu rafsi: sov so'a x1 is an egg/ovum/sperm/pollen/gamete of/from organism [mother/father] x2. (poorly metaphorical only due to gender- and species- being unspecified): ovoid, oblate (= pevyso'aseltai, but better: claboi); egg, specifically female (= fetso'a), of a bird (= cpifetso'a, cpiso'a), of a chicken (= jipcyfetso'a, jipcyso'a. (but note that Lojban does not require specificity, just as English doesn't for either milk or eggs; "sovda" is fine for most contexts); If fertilized, then tsiju or tarbi. (cf. ganti, gutra, mamta, patfu, rorci, tsiju, lanbi, tarbi; also djine, konju for shape, tarbi)
tutci
gismu rafsi: tci x1 is a tool/utensil/resource/instrument/implement used for doing x2; [form determines function]. crakemsazycimde
lujvo ci1=cr1 is a heads-up display (HUD) for user s1 of machine/system s2 based on principle ci3. It is shown/visible in front of cr2, as seen from the user's viewpoint. A very general sense of “heads-up display” is used here; it is not limited to one single application. For example, it could be used to refer to both the heads-up display of modern aircraft as well as the heads-up display in computing and video games. Cf. crane, sazycimde.
cu'au'ei
experimental cmavo mekso binary/unary operator: multinomial coefficient/binomial coefficient/choose If unary, a list (n1,...,n_r) must be supplied as input; the terms of the list may not be distinct; for appropriate values, output is ((n1 +...+ n_r)!)/((n1)! *...* (n_r)!). If binary, a single number n must be supplied for the first variable and the second variable must be a list (k1,...,k_s); for appropriate values, the output is (n!)/((k1 !) * ((n - k1)!) *...* (k_s !) * ((n - k_s)!)); note that this is not exactly the typical definition, but it allows for easier immediate usage for the binomial case (where s=1).
